In biotech investing, sentiment can shift rapidly. And, while I’ve had some success in the past buying names that are hated, recent data readouts and subsequent big runs in names like ABVX, NKTR, CDTX, and (today’s) QURE suggest that it is often easier to wait for the shift and ride the wave. Alpha can be generated the most in names with the most extreme change in sentiment.
